OUR MISSION
The Fairfield ISD Education Foundation partners with the community to provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize innovative opportunities for all students at Fairfield ISD.
The FISD Education Foundation
Is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt philanthropic organization governed by a volunteer board of directors made up of business, community, and educational leaders.
Partners with teachers, parents, and the community to enhance education in Fairfield ISD
Fosters creative approaches to education through private grants and involvement.
Works to increase private support for educational activities in Fairfield ISD.
What Do We Do?
The Fairfield ISD Education Foundation provides a new and innovative source of funding to support Fairfield ISD's educational plan.
The Foundation does not replace lost state funding, nor does it attempt to take the place of the district's operating budget.
Our initiatives provide grants to teachers that allow them to fund programs and resources that enhance student learning.
The Process We Use For Giving
- FUNDRAISING
The Fairfield ISD Education Foundation raises money in the community from individuals and businesses to fund a grant budget.
2. APPLICATIONS
The Fairfield ISD Education Foundation invites teachers to submit grants detailing what programs or resources would enhance student learning in their classroom.
3. EVALUATION
The board evaluates grant submissions and assesses which programs and/or resources would best serve students.
4. PRIZE PATROL!
Selected teachers are awarded grant money to fund their project submission.
